Youth Entrepreneurs at work
The Kidpreneur Business Academy is a one-day intensive program designed to guide youth through the full journey of creating their own business. Participants are taken from concept to launch, learning how to develop a business plan, craft a business name, logo, and brand identity, and determine what product or service they want to offer. They are taught how to calculate production costs, set pricing, and understand the fundamentals of selling to consumers.
Throughout the program, students are supported by a team of professional mentors from various industries who offer guidance, answer questions, and help spark innovative thinking. Expert speakers provide insight on essential topics such as marketing, financial management, product development, branding, and presentation skills.
The program concludes with each participant receiving a free vending space at our Marketplace during the Summer Community Celebration—giving them the opportunity to launch their business and engage directly with the community.

The Speaking & Leadership Initiative is a six-week program designed to help today’s youth build confidence, self-belief, and the essential tools needed for lifelong success. Guided by a team of dedicated mentors, participants learn to navigate personal and social challenges while strengthening their communication and leadership skills.
Students are divided into small groups, each supported by assigned mentors. Every week introduces a new topic for discussion, encouraging critical thinking, teamwork, and personal growth. At the end of the program, each group must create a final presentation that addresses the core topic of their session.
Participants may express their ideas through a video, a debate, or a spoken word performance—allowing them to showcase their creativity and newly developed skills. The most outstanding presentation will receive a prize that gives the winning group an opportunity to further highlight and celebrate their leadership abilities.

Investing in our youth is not just important—it is essential to building a thriving, resilient, and unified community. With this commitment in mind, Zawadi established its Scholarship Program in 2022 to support high school seniors in their pursuit of higher education. Each year, a select number of graduating seniors receive scholarships to attend the college of their choice.
